Research

Research is an important component to the work of AHCF and a valuable tool for the artistic community. Our focus is on understanding the unique health problems of artists, the risk factors involved in artistic practice and on investigating methods of prevention. Through evidence-based research, we hope to discover some of the causes of artists’ occupational illnesses and injuries, and study the clinical benefits of combining therapies in the most effective way possible.

Dr. David Cassidy is the Director of the Artists’ Health Research Program at the AHC.
